You’ll need some kind of marketable skill to sell and to sign up for an account with sites Upwork.com and/or Fiverr.com. As you browse these sites you’ll see a number of different things that people on their offer.
You can design logos, create content for people’s websites, and many other things to help out people with online work of any kind. So if you have some technical skill or even a creative flair, you can consider building some kind of reputation and gaining reviews on these sites to generate an income from your work.

Blogging is a popular way some people make an extra income from home. Blogging is a long term strategy which takes some patience and time to build an income from. You can build an income from blogging using Google Adsense or promoting affiliate products from your blog.

There’s many ways in which affiliates make sales online. As mentioned already, some like blogging. But you can also build an affiliate business more quickly through using high ticket affiliate products, subscription affiliate programs and through the use of paid marketing and building an email list.

If you have a spare room in your house consider renting it out to a lodger. A room rental can make you a nice extra income if you’re the home owner and you might even make a new friend!

Although not strictly a “from home” job, TV extras work sporadically on television and film productions. They get called up when productions need people in the background for their shows.
TV extras work can be pretty enjoyable too and low maintenance. Just bring a book and be prepared for a lot of sitting around. To find a local extras agent near you use a simple Google search for extras or background artist agencies.
Build A Niche Website or Create Your Own Course
This is similar to the the blogging strategy above. If you have a particular interest or hobby, why not create a simple website around your passion? You can monetise with affiliate products which relate to your interest, or create your own email course and sell it.

This strategy can take some time and some sites will pay more than others. But if you’re prepared to spend some time on them, it can give you some extra income. Don’t expect huge things with survey sites though as most of them will offer vouchers and tokens instead of cash! A lot of work counts for a small amount of money in most cases!

I’ve tried most of these strategies and found affiliate marketing to be the best. But everyone has different ideas according to how they want to work. Affiliate marketing is a good strategy because the work you do can build up over time. If you’re a content creator, like me, you can build a huge bank of content which can generate sales in your sleep!
Or build a huge email list and promote affiliate products using paid marketing. Affiliates can work in a variety of ways too, so if you’re into video creation, that’s another strategy you can use.
